Im heading off to work soon. I got a cold and should really be staying home but, today should be an early day anyway.

I know we at least have a dock there, and they come in every so often. It is cheaper to live down here

Attending today was : Connecticut (Steve), SGreen (Scott), Bill Curlee (Bill), Stamford52 (Joe), MLC 02 (Larry), Ayeroff (Jason), and Cheezilla (Chris) - all the way from Philidelphia!!!!
Good laughs, good times and good pizza
So we dissembled the front of the engine, moved the steering rack and removed the crank pulley - and found NO SMOKING GUN!!! We still do not know what is making that loud noise when cold. All the bolts were very tight, the cam retainer was undamaged and not worn. The only hint was the timing chain was a little loose - but not enough to make that noise on cold start.
So I ordered a new LS2 timing chain and it will be in from the stealership on Thursday (the one on the car is new from July when I did the cam).
So NOTHING is happening tomorrow (Tuesday) - sorry. The front of the engine is dissembled but will stay that way until Friday
Tuesday's Mod Party has been cancelled - it has been posponed to Friday December 30th due to waiting for parts from the stealership. !!!
