Road noise

When I put an exhaust system on what is the best way to insulated the interior from noise. I have a convertible. Is that noise blocker that fits behind the seats any good or is there an insulater I can put under the carpet ----and is that a big job.

You can do both each one will help alittle bit, I have a FRC and it was worth while for both mods. The sound deadener install take a good day to do but worth it.

The Convertible partition works pretty good.

We have them as well in matching Black, Light Oak and Pewter Grey.

Hope you will post your results. My vert was really loud with runflats and exhaust. Fixed the runflat situation this week... at least I hope I did.

I took out most of my road noise with new non-runflat tires, and Frost King insulation mod.

I put a trunk mat from Lloydes in my vert. It cut down the noise.

There are three things you can do to dramatically reduce road noise.
A trunk partition from forum member Crazy Cowboy at
www.exoticvettes
A trunk carpet form Lloyds mats
those two combined dramtically reduce exhaust drone in a Vert
The last step is the expensive one.... replace the runcraps!
