Default Tri-Y headers - Someone has to have a set installed ?

I have been seriously considering the purchase of LT headers and have noticed that there are numerous posts on Dynomax, LG's, TPIS, etc, .. but I have never seen a post on the Tri-Y headers like Basani or Belanger? I was recently reading an article by Jack Burns who is supposedly a header guru for IHRA, NHRA and Nascar and he say's that without a doubt the Tri-Y headers make the most power over a broad rpm range. Not looking to disbute which header is the best but more to hear from forum members that have these headers on their cars.

Wow, this say's either two things to me, stay away from Tri-Y's as no one else on the forum uses them or they just don't do what they claim to

I've got QTP tri's and love them, see my sig. On this forum LG's are king but if you go to LS1 tech you'll find that QTP's and other Tri's are highly thought of by some very technically qualified guys.I never make a performance mod without researching it on LS1 - very knowledgable people over there.

LG's are the way to go. They're T304 Stainless and the fit and quality is outstanding.

Some previous threads on the QTP Tri-Y's; I'll most likely be going this way next spring.
