My '03 vert has no wind noise that I have noticed. Road noise on certain srfaces, but no wind noise.

OT, slightly. My wife is drooling over the SRX. How do you like yours?

mine has leaked air and water from day 1. been to the dealer 4 or 5 times now and its worse now than ever.

they have the top adjusted where the top is crooked along the windshield now and theres a gap big enough to stick a pencil thru.

i have to take it back to have them fix the seat where the side bolster is tearing at the seam, i will have them fix it again and it wont leave until im satisfied that its correct...(i forsee a battle coming over this one)

could also be due to pressure differentials - when i have my glass top off and the windows all the way up, at 55 i get that weird resonance / buffeting sound....

i roll the windows down an inch or two (not more...just a little bit) and voila the air flows differently and doesnt fold on itself somehow...

have you tried having the AC (fan) blowing a little bit of air into the cabin at speed to test? or visa versa.... ? just a thot

Take a dollar bill, or a $100, if your rich, and try pulling it through all around the windows. It should be a firm pull everywhere if the adjustment is right. There will be more noise as you increase speed due to the airflow around the windows creating a low pressure area that tries to pull the windows away from the weatherstrip.

I know, the reason I'm so "up on this" right now, the most recent visit to the dealer, the mechanic wanted to take my door panel apart to adjust the window/top clearnace. I said, no, do it this way -- he refused, didn't want to believe it.

So, I did it myself.

Add a Borla Stinger exhaust. You'll NEVER hear wind noise again. EVER.

Me too. I admit to seldom having the top up - live in Arizona. But on the rare occassion - no significant noises other than the drive train and exhaust noises that I can't hear when I am topless.

My '03 is pretty quiet. I had an issue when it was new and the dealer sent me to a local guy that specialized in vert tops. He made a couple of adjustments that worked very well. You might want to try and find someone like that instead of the dealer.

I have a 00 vert with the same problem. and it drove me crazy. I found that the noise came from the passanger side and it only happend when a passenger got in. also happens when I close the drive door with the window up. Here was my fix. I notice that when I closed the door the glass lays on top of the canvas on the upper right corner (driver side) using a key somthing flat not sharp slip the top over the glass.

Now I normally get in car open window a little bit then close window all the way and no more noise. this is how I took care of this problem. on both doors.
hope it works for you

My 00 vert has wind noise and a slight water leak on the driver side. If i lower the window a bit and close it again the wind noise is reduced. I am guessing that a window adjustment should be the first fix before replacing the weatherstripping, right?

Seems as your vert leak is the first leak since 2006!👍
