Is torque management active on all Corvettes or is it restricted to only those with automatic transmissions? If it is a part of all Vettes, what exactly is the advantage to disabling it? Even though I am mechanically challenged in certain areas, I'm pretty sure it would reduce engine power but I don't have a grasp on what activates it and how much power is lost. My last question would be what is the down side to disabling it? Thanks in advance.

Well it is there I can speak only for the 02 Z06. I had it changed when I got my car tuned. It is tied in with AH/TC. I just had the numbers raised in the tunning software to a higher number so it would not come in as early as it was before. Not sure if it is the same for Auto cars or what years?

My recollection is that torque management is only on automatics. Others disagree. I would like to know the truth. Torque managment limits torque when one's car becomes afraid of ripping itself apart. Check out the other current torque management thread.
