Default Oil change

Time for my first oil change since I got the vehicle. What places in the Lower CT area (IE in or near Fairfield County) are safe to take our babies too for an Oil change? I know they need lifting pucks or some such? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Can't help ya with a referral, but why not supply the garage with your pucks (buy em for yourself) the correct filter and oil? Then you won't have to worry about the rocker rails being damaged or that the proper filter and oil are being used. While your at it, supply them with a magnetic drain plug too.

Good Luck

If you don't do it yourself, it's probably best to get it done at a place that doesn't lift it. I'd find the closest Expressway Lube or Jiffy Lube or whatever they call 'em, and speak with the "manager". Some, if not most of these places, don't lift the vehicles to change the oil. He probably knows less about changing oil than you or me but at least you can make him feel important by asking him if it would be okay for you to supply the oil and filter and seeing if he'll "get his best oil changing technician" on the job of doing your car. A little extra grease on his palm will probably serve you well.

Well...there you go, Nulltime. You couldn't ask for a better invitation. Go see Greg and I'm sure he'll take good care of your car. What more could you ask for...one Corvette owner taking care of another Corvette owner.
