CAGS delete resistor rating??

Is the resistor the same for the C5 Z06 as it is for the CTS-V (2005) since same trans is used? Anyone know the rating?

A buddy just made some trick !CAGS for his CTS-V with a 2.2 ohms, 1/2 volt resistor and to quote him:

"BTW –
10 minutes work
$5 worth of parts
1 minute installation

I now have a CAGS eliminator and it’s completely hidden. It goes right in line with the harness and the resistor is completely hidden and sealed so nobody’s the wiser."

So I'm wondering if I can do the same to an 03 Z06?

Yes, should be the same. I've got a 2.2k in my 97 and it works great.

But I don't know who sold you a resistor for $5

should be more like $0.5 at most

If you are unsure, and have a multimeter, just check the resistance (ohms) of the solenoid coil and that will tell you exactly what value you need.
