Default Convertable "Sound Killer" Used?

Any Vert Owners use the "Sound Killer" (or similar product) to reduce the noise transfered from the trunk area to the **** pit?

I went with a partition. There are a couple of Forum Vendors who do products. I got mine from Exotic Vette and I've been very happy with it. You can keep it in place with the top either up or down. Great fit and looks good.

How well does it reduce the noise? Could I see pics of yours?

I received my Vert Trunk Partition from Southern Car Parts yesterday and installed it last night. It took all of 30 seconds to put it in but I have not had an opportunity to test it. Southern Car Parts is a Forum Vendor and their cost on this item of $130 (which includes shipping) is the best I found while shopping it.

There are some good pics on the website at the link above

It reduces noise quite well with the roof up although I don't think the noise is particularly bad in the first place. I normally have the radio on so its all relative. Add that to the fact that the roof is normally down here in Vegas. It does help to keep things from rolling around between the trunk and thwe cockpit though.

I had the sound killers and they do work and I think they look nice. They also kill the sound from the rear speakers. I replaced them with a partion that fits behind the rear speakers. The only problem I have had with the partion is that the material separated from the partition board and so I had to re-glue it.

Click on the link in my original post and there are some good pics. It's carpeted on both sides and only $130 shipped from Southern Car Parts. Exotic Vettes is $180 plus $20 shipping for a total of $200

Totally sound proofed my entire car with Frost King and Dynomat last winter, and while I was at it, I made a partition and sub-woofer speaker enclosures out of MDF. This resulted in a 100% improvement in interior noise reduction, not to mention the sound quality from the system becoming noticeably better.

I actually found that one accidentally a few days ago. It seems like a steal compared to what most places are selling them for... I think it is pretty plain-Jane.... but it looks functional.

..but I think that one is just a piece of covered 2-1/2" dense foam
