I fitted the rocker rail protectors from A&A Corvette. They went on fairly easily and its a good snug fit.
I've just started on the frame savers. Drilling the skid bar to take the bolt is proving quite a job. That metal is hard I think my little drill is struggling. Has anyone else had similar problems or do I just need to grit my teeth and press on?
I used a 18 volt Dewalt drill and a titanium drill bit. But I started to drill the hole with a smaller bit first before drilling with the correct size diameter bit stated on their instruction. Had no problem.

I'll give that a try. I have the attention span of a gnat and its getting a bit tedious
1. car is off the ground
2. with a hammer and punch put a depression for one of the holes
3. using a good electric drill (forward speed) and a small bit drill a pilot hole
4. drill with the proper size bit
5. attach the plate but leave the bolt loose
6. repeat #2-4
my guess is you have a bad bit or a drill not appropriate for the job.
Thanks to DeeCee for asking the question and for all the inputs - my set of frame savers and frame rails are on the work table waiting to get the car on the lift. Know I know exactly what to do - including using the sharp end of the drill bit. I only have a hand powered drill, but that should work as long as I have a sharp bit, right?
Gotta love the Forum - all the news and info all the time!
save the cordless for drilling into soft wood around the house! always buy the best power tools you can afford. for power tools (gas, electric, air) you always want to have a power reserve.
