Sorry, not trying to play games, but I don't know if the seller is a member here either, so no sense in giving away my hand, either before we even begin to negotiate. Also, if it's a great deal, I don't want someone else to pull the rug from under my potential deal.
I was just wondering what others thought a good deal might look like for the described. If it's an offensive question, then I respectfully withdraw it.
I'll see the car soon, make an offer and just see what happens.

No one can fault you for living up to your username.
Especially I, a snot-nosed 45-year-old wanna be punk who doesn't even have the right (really) to be posting here yet!
No harm, no foul, Groucho!! You bet your life!
I do have a good feeling about the car I'll be seeing tomorrow, though. Someone else also gave me an excellent factor to consider... The new Blue Book prices are being released around the 10th of this month, and that could impact values significantly -- or not. Have to wait and see, I guess!
AND..If you love it..buy it. Who cares if you got a good deal...Life is too short to worry too much about value!
Iagree - You are so right on. I bought my 01 for what would be considered on this forum an astronomical price but every day I get that special grin, those envious looks, those head turning stares - I know I got a great deal.
If the Vert is in really nice condition, and you like it... 55K is nothing for milage and $30-31,000 sounds like a fair price...hard to find a 2002 Vert in really good condition for less..my .02

Bought it today. Bringing it home tomorrow. Warranty better than expected. Car outstanding in every respect except for paint scrape down low in front to deal with at my leisure. Final price, $27.5k. Very pleased.

Mileage is high for my liking, but price is reasonable, and if you like it, that's all that matters. Congrtas, you'll love a vert!
