Default Spec 3, line lock, etc...

Putting in a Spec stage 3, a line lock, a Raptor shift light and '04 shocks today. Hopefully everything will be finished in the next few days.

I got some great ideas from you guys on the LL switch location and the shift light location. I'm using the lighted Rat Shack switch in the cigarette lighter hole for the line lock and I'm using the sunvisor location for the shift light. Should keep everything clean and out of the way.

The stock clutch setup worked well this season with 450 rwhp, but I've up'd my nx shot to 150 and want to make sure it holds. I've read the mixed reviews of the spec clutches, but decided to give it a go. The line lock and shift light should really help my consistency. Just wish I could have afforded to put in the long tubes at the same time. Oh well, I keep telling myself they're not much bang for the buck anyway...

I still want them, damnit. lol

I guess that'll be my last minute project before the track opens this year.

We installed a Cartech LL on my car and used a Hurst switch on the steering wheel tilt stalk.

MSG Huff installed a raptor in my car a few weekends ago before TnT (thanks again Wayne!!!). Very nice light and it seems to help, now after a few passes to get used to it. Good luck brother!

Thanks.

That's a great location. I do like the lighted switch, though. Not that it'll be hard to tell it's engaged... lol
