Problems With Paint?
I went to see a new black Z at the dealer and was very disappointed with the quality of the paint. The driver's side was very poorly finished almost like orange (lemon?) peel and the same could be said for parts of the passenger's side. Is this a common occurrence on the new Z-06 or was this an isolated occurrence?

Problems with Paint
The finish on my '06 Z06 (Black) is absolutely horrible! Not only orange peel but very uneven finish. When delivered I requested that the car not be touched - I would clean and detail myself. Took delivery in the rain (big mistake). When I got it home and dry I found scratch marks (mostly the fenders) where someone apparently tried to remove glue from the protective sheeting on the fenders. Multiple applications of Scratch X and it's improving. Of course neither the factory nor the dealer know anything about it.
