OK this one's got me, I'm a stickler for squeeks and rattles but right now I've got one that I can't seem to find and its very peculiar. The squeek sounds like this: if you take a shampoo bottle and squeeze quickly it to push the air out and in quickly thats what it sounds like.

Now, the very strange part. It only seems to do it with the engine RUNNING, and it seems to be related to the clutch pedal. I can make the squeeking by pumping in and out the clutch pedal most of the time... BUT THEN it still squeeks if I go over certain bumps, even if the clutch pedal is depressed. Then today in my work parking lot with the clutch depressed I slolumed (sp) back and forth and could make the squeeking happen in tune with each steering wheel turn. If I sit in my seat and bounce around I can make it happen too, but ONLY when the motor is running. If I shut the engine off, I can bounce all around the car, push the clutch pedal in and release it with no squeek. What the heck is this!?

Ive tried using a different roof thinking it might have been one of the latches. Its not the AC blower motor because that also squeeked and I replaced it with a new one $80 later... I also just put in the Crazy Cowboy installation kit, so its probably not some trim floating around either. if I can bust the squeek along with my squeeky drive belts then I'll have a squeek free car. Help!

 

Sorry to hear about your dilema, but I have this image of you bouncing around inside your car like a ping pong. LOL. But seriously, I first thought of the suspension, then the AC belt, replaced becuase it was sqeeking, Harmonic Balancer, had mine replaced 3 times becuase of sqeeking, then the belt tentioner cause it moves and who knows.
