Default C5 Plenum Cover

I am having practically the entire engine compartment custom painted and chromed out. The one thing that I can't seem to settle on is a plenum cover. The chrome ones I have seen are rather plain looking. I used to have a great one made by Design Specialties but they are not around anymore. Also, I think I have seen some folks with painted plenum covers...or maybe they painted the plenum itself.

Please post some pics if you have done one or the other and like what you got. Thanks everyone.

I first went with carbon fiber but that just wasn't right for me. Recently
installed a new painted plenum from Kewl. Thinking about custom painting
now but haven't figured out just what to have done;

Considering a tin plate costs as much as $400, $550 for this is almost reachable...

I have a painted plenum cover like the one Vetteran has only in torch red. They are a nice addition and if you want more bling, get it custom painted. You may want to talk with Chevy Chad and see what he can do.

Now this one I like but I would rather have it in chrome. I talked to a vendor who is working up a chrome one so I guess I'll wait on it.

The chrome version was offered by Kewl, but as far as I know, no longer available. I bought mine about 2 uears ago.

There's more than a few people wanting this item.

Roger that. Noel and Autobuffs was the vendor I was talking about. Just wasn't sure if Noel wanted me to spill the beans yet. I can't wait to get mine.
