Ouestion....Help please
I am having a Showboard made for my 2001 Corvette Coupe and I'm not sure if the acceleration should read 0-to 60 in 6 seconds or 0-to 60 in 5 seconds. Please tell me which one is correct.
Your help is appreciated.
Thanks my CF friends.

Stock, I believe MN6 cars go 0-60 in the 4.7 range, whilst A4 cars do it in 5.0 (gearing could effect this figure). You didn't give any details about your tranny or rear axle ratio, so it's hard to be any more precise.

Thanks Bill. As far as the Tranny or rear axle ratio..... your talking to a girl. The car was fully loaded when I bought it. Not sure if this helps.

Does the car have an automatic transmission or a stick shift?

Typically, the automatic cars are rated at 0-60 in the 5.0-5.2 second range. Cars with the optional G92 Performance Axle Ratio will be a tad quicker than those with the standard axle ratio.

Hi Vetten Vayo -
In my opinion.....take it to a track and establish what you want to tout on your show-board.
I am not being smart here - truly, if you are going to advertise a number- run it and see what that number is!
Then, show us a nice picture of your car and your show board !
best regards -

But, every car can be a little different - some faster, some slower.

According to Car & Driver mag, the 2001 vert with 6-speed did 0-60 in 4.5 seconds.
