Pull Key, wait 10 seconds!!
The "Pull Key" message doesn't always mean a column lock problem.
It just means that your key didn't do what it was supposed to.
The key may be wet or dirty.
It may be the security system preventing the car from being driven away.
Try another key or clean the key with alcohol and try again after 30 seconds.
I sure hope that's all it is. I guess only time will tell.
Thanks,

Just thought I'd give y'all an update. Its been over a month now and I havn't seen the dreaded "Pull Key,wait 10 seconds" message again. That was weird.
When I posted this thread, I took some of the advice given. I checked for codes, didn't have any, my battery is only 5 months old so I didn't think a low voltage battery was the problem, and I never tried using a different key (just in case my key was dirty or something). Only got the message just that one time, and haven't seen it since. Knock Wood
