Sorry for the newbie question.. I'm going to look at a 2002 z06 tomorrow, do the oem wheels have locking lugs standard? I seem to remember reading about a spot in the car that was meant to hold them.
I believe they do come standard. The coupes have a little indentation underneath the drivers side cargo cover to hold the key. Not sure about the Z though.

My dealer charged me $25 for the locks. I got a great deal on the car (got the A plan price and I don't work for GM or have a relative that works for them) I guess they had to make a few bucks!
Wheel locks will just make more of a PIA when changing tires/wheels. Thieves steal
cars not wheels. It is faster for them to take the whole car then to bother with
just the wheels.
My '03 doesn't have them ... and I'm glad. A frustrated vandal could remove the other 4 for spite, and you can imagine what would happen if you drove off with only one lug nut ....
