Default HELP P0442 code

This is driving me crazy need help.Replaced the gas cap, even switched caps with a buddy's vette.Still get the code, replaced the vacuum hose from the air pump, that is under the battery tray that was bad ,still get the code.Code comes up whenever the tank gets to 1/4 ,which from what I understand is when it assesses the system. It is a 2000 coupe, doesn't affect the performance ,just drives me crazy having to reset the idiot light all the time. Where to go from there ??? Please any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Don't want to have to spend countless $$$$ on diagnostics.

You have a vapor leak somewhere in the EVAP system. The dealer has the capability to pressurize the EVAP system with nitrogen smoke by tapping into the service port under the left fuel rail cover.Once the system is pressuized, the leak is easy to detect with the visible smoke, impossible to detect without it
