If your looking for "Ear Comfortable" and you still want some performance, Might i suggest you listen to the B&B Rte 66 with quad shark tips. Nice note at idle and at a light or going under an overpass but you can actually hold a conversation in the car @ 90mph Make sure you get a good "X Pipe" tho. that makes all the difference

and to all my California LEO Brothers out there....I dont do 90 on the Highway....of course, never, not ever so you dont have to be looking for the white vette with the red stripe on your patch of highway.

Last question is how low do the catback, borla exhausts hang? Are they low enough to be unsightly or undesirable or are the pictures just throwing me off?

I recommend that you find someone with a Borla system and someone else with a Corsa system and try them both. The degree of resonance or loudness that each individual finds objectionable is very subjective. While at Carlysle this year I listened to the Borla and Corsa systems as they were installed and liked the Borla system standing behind the cars. However, after riding in one of each, the noise level in the Borla equiped Vette was too much for me, but the owner really liked it. I therefore bought a Corsa Indy system and a Corsa X-pipe for my 2004 convertible w/auto. The result is perfect for me. At idel the system is just about stock, but as the RPMs go up, the exhaust starts to sound much better than stock. At highway speeds, my wife and I can carry on a conversatin without resonance or extra noise. In my neighborhood, people will look up as I go by to see what is coming down the street. When I really get on it, the sound is awsome -- just the way a Vette should sound from the factory!

The Corsa's sound the same as stock untill you go WOT.
The Borla's and ones alike are loud all the time.

Personally, I have the borla's on my everyday driver vette and they are loud and there is drone, but I don't think it's that bad and actually want it a little louder to be honest.
Add headers. I just did and what a nice sound to the Stingers.

From what I've heard on the road the Corsas sound Indy car like. The Borlas have a good baratone sound all the way through the power band.

Go with Borla and an X pipe, quiet at idle almost like stock, no drone at all and nasty at WOT. They look great as well
