I feel very blessed to have been behind the wheel of a Corvette for over 100k miles and hope to have many more.
My baby has over 100k miles on her and one of the things that is showing her mileage is the windshield. When I am driving toward the sun, I can see thousounds of little chips in the windshield. Is there any way to cure this even if it is something I have to do everytime I wash her. Thanks in advance for the help.

It's time for a new windshield, really no way around that kind of thing. There are two types depending on whether or not you have the HUD option.
Try claybar first - a friend of mine swears by it - I am going to do it before winter is over to my Z, which is showing some crap on it.
Your windscreen will get little specks of tree sap on it that harden (at least they do here in the cornfield...) and look like little chips in the glass.
If claybar does not work, then you might really have chips , but that would be unusual IMO.
Our 98 lumina does not have a lot of chips in it after 150k miles.....and we are not particularly careful about that car....
I think what you are referring to is called "sand sparkle. If I drive mine into the sun at just the right angle I'll see some of that. I inquired at a local auto glass shop re: getting this buffed out. There answer was sometimes we can, othertimes we can't. They would need to see it. I may take mine in to have it looked at but like I said it really does not bother me.
I believe your windshield has pits from sand deflecting off of it. I have a '32 Ford street rod with a very vertical windshield in it and it really gets pitted from sand and other small debris blasting it. There is no cure except for replacement. Fortunately, for the '32, a windshield is very cheap but for a Corvette...........

Unfortunately only way to cure this is a new windshield. A number of forum members have used the non-HUD windshield in a HUD equipped car and state it works fine. Plus it is cheaper.

You have received some good suggestions. Claybar might help a bit. It will leave you with a CLEAN wiindshiield. Stoner's Invisible Glass may help a bit as well. It seems to "fill in" a lot of the speckles on my 2000. Zaino makes a polymer that seems to fill in the speckles and lasts a long time as well. When I wash the car, I spend more time on the windshield that anything else. I usually use Stoners, test for smoothness with a baggie on my hand and then apply Zaino Glass - forget the number, - but a small bottle lasts forever.
All the above help a bit and you have to make the decison about replacing the glass. Getting hit with a stone and needing replacement is fairly common in AZ.
Mines the same... its pitted all to hell but its not enough to keep me from driving. I just spent $30 to have a rock chip filled and sealed so it doesnt get any bigger, suprisingly its less noticeable now.
I just had mine replaced for the same reason. It took two windshields before they got it right but insurance was paying so who cares. The first one they almost covered the vin plate with blk goo. They pulled that one out and it cracked, so they put another one in. This one is a hud model but it has the antenna and I have a Vert. It was pretty interesting to see the look on the installers face when he realized he didn't have an antenna to plug in to it. I told them to leave it as it appeared like they got the install right.
Here in AZ you're crazy if you don't have zero deductible glass coverage.

IMHO, you are crazy in any state without zero deductible glass. Zero deductible costs me $1 per month... At $1400 for the Vette windshield, which was replaced last summer, I've got 1394 months to go before I would be money ahead to not have the coverage.
