I agree that black is a lot harder to keep clean. I have owned red, silver, blue, and gold cars and the black is by far the hardest to keep clean. Once clean it really looks good. If you enjoy washing a Vette then go for the black. I like washing and waxing my cars. It gives me some "me" time.

Black is high maintenance if you want it to look good. Keep a generous supply of your favourite detail products handy. I always kept a detail kit in the trunk. The C5 in black is a standout. I ordered my C6 in LeMans blue for something different, not because I hated black.
As long as you are hand washing/polishing your car with quality products (ZAINO), it will remain swirl and scratch free. I went from White to Black with no lookin' back!
Has anyone of you BLK vette owners used the new Zaino product Z-PC Fusion dual action paint cleanser and swirl remover, I also have a 98 Blk beauty, but have some swirl marks, I only use Zaino products, and seen this new product in there line of detailing products.
If anyone has used this please let me know how it worked, and if it indeed does remove swirl marks,
I also will post in the detaining section, I just thought since this was a Blk vette issue I would spring it upon you Folks, thnx
