Default Commemorative Edition - Question

I obviously know what the Z06 is, but what are the other versions I've heard about (Z16)?

Z16 is the Commemorative Edition version of the Z06. Same engine/trans/suspension, but it includes the paintwork/graphics/emblems of the Comm Ed. The unique items that the Z16 has over a "standard Z06" are the polished wheels and the carbon fiber hood.

Z16 is the Leman's Commemorative Model with a carbon fiber hood and stripes. It's painted Leman's Blue and was available in 2004. Has special badging celebrating Leman's victories.

Regular Production Options (RPOs) are codes used by all G.M. vehicles.

"Z" designates a package.
ie, a few;
Z51 - performance package (C4, C5 and C6)
ZR1 - special performance package (C4 and was also used in C3s)
Z4Z - Indy pace cars
Z16 - `96 Grand Sport, `04 C.E. pckg. for the Z-06
Z07 - adjustible HD suspension pckg. (my favorite)

Mines a "Z15" CE Coupe (non-Z06). It's also LeMans Blue (no stripes), with Shale interior, and an LS-1.

Here are the other versions of the Commemorative cars....

Only the Z16 Z06 had the carbon fiber hood (first production use of CF) and the stripes. It was also the only Z06 to come from the factory with high polished wheels. The CE cars all came in LeMans Blue to commorate the success the C5R had at the 24 hours of Le Mans.

A beautiful color - so much so that it is an optional color on the '05 and '06 C6.

Here's a link to a great article on the Z16...

Not true, the Z18 export CE Coupe had the CF hood and strips as well.
