NO E85 is only 85 octane fuel derived from corn. the new alternative fuel cars like the 5.3L GM'S can use it but it must say that on your car.
I have used it in my Yukon and you get even worse gas milage and it is not much cheaper.

E85 compatibility is designated for vehicles that are certified to run on up to 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline. It's not 85 octane, it's basically alcohol with a little gas mixed in. Fuel mileage will drop off considerably!
