TransMarro Trouble/Does your Corvette attract Idiots?
Coming home last night from Placerville and riding the right lane at a relaxing, sedate 65 mph 
. An Orange with white stripe one of the above (They all look the same to me) 
pulls up beside me and proceeds to goose his motor and make his car lurch for a good two miles. Really obnoxious like 
. For a moment I thought ahhhh what the hell, I could give him the gift a a few new doors, but then thought Nah, I'm enjoying my ride. So instead, I turned his way and gave him a great big exagerated yawn, complete with hand patting over the mouth. Well he was pissed! 
He decided to do a little jig to the right and came within inches of my quarter panel then took off like a shot(From a Daisey Air rifle) 
About 3 miles on up the road he is on the side of the road keeping company with a couple of the fine representatives of the California Highway Patrol 
I just couldn't resist popping it into neutral and giving him a nice roar as I criused by Why is itn that ecvery idiot who has a stripe or a little chrome believe it would be unmanly just pass me by and go about thier business without a challenge

Exact same thing happened to me this past thanksgiving day on the way home from work. Except this was an red 05 Mustang GT. And instead of giving him a yawn i gave him a 
motion.
I currently own a 95 Trans Am and just sold my 97 Camaro, both modded and fast. I just hate that the majority of TA/Camaro owners these days seem to be pop-culture retards. Hence why i dont post over on the f-body forums hardly anymore. I like talking with you guys/gals a lot more.

Seriously though....I think the mentality is that of the Wild West. A vette owner is like a gunslinger, and every challenger wants that notch in their belt to say they took down a vette with their ride. In a way they are admitting the vette is the king of the hill. The sad part is when a rice burner with a borla muffler throws down a challenge, then extensive therapy is their only hope.

Happened to me about a month ago. While I was not drving my Vette and not exactly being egged by the Audi A4 ( soupped up with a fart can) This Audi was speeding and tailgating everybody who's in front of him and cutting anybody when the chance hits on a 2 way lane. Near the intersection ( and I'm familiar with the particular intersection as a hotspot for pullovers) I saw the same Audi pulled over by a local LEO. I was quite happy inside that justice and safety is served for all of us good if not better drivers.

So seldom is there an LEO when you need one - nice to see that in this case, that was not true. He got what he deserved.
