How many actually run Road Courses?

You can't appreciate a Corvette until you open it up at the track.
Nothing beats the feeling as you power out of a turn and down the main straight at WOT.

I'm in Northern California. As another member metioned, a handfull of tracks within a few hours drive (Infineon, Laguna Seca, Thunder Hill, Button Willow, & Reno-Fernely).
Someone mentioned safety and car damage. But this is very safe. It's non-contact timed laps, not wheel-to-wheel racing. Most tracks have lots of run-off room, allowing for mistakes/off-track-excursions with no damage -- Other than your pride!
A little hard on tires, brakes and rotors, though. But that's why they call those items "consumables". BTW -- Much safer, and ultimately cheaper, than street racing/hot-rodding! I find that tracking my car makes me less like to want to "play" on the street.
Vettes are made to run!!! Try it! . . . You'll like it!
