Incidentally, I used to run franchise dealerships, and in almost NO case, would an owner even be dealing directly with you. Did you buy this car from a "pot lot", or from a real dealership?
Try contacting your local DMV, even if it means going to the information line there, and explain the situation: You bought a car out of state, you have the contract and bill of sale, but the pink got lost. Don't explain all the other stuff of calling and calling. Just stick to the facts, and play dumb. Act like you don't know anything about a bank holding title. You may find that they'll work with you to put this to bed. After all, bringing a car in from out of state helps your DMV make money, so unless there are a whole bunch of red flags raised, they WANT to help you register it and take your money.

If your DMV does not work with you and you bought from a "pot lot", you better stay on top of this, because you never know what a pot lot owner is up to, if he's in financial straights.

it was sent on friday on a 2night delivery. i spoke to the dealer last night (which he said was his wedding night) and again at work this morning (strange going to work the day after your wedding) he said it took a while to get the title from the bank because he has a floor plan, there for the bank holds the titles .excuse after exuse
