[Z06] Bumped Again ! %*&^* GM

Bumped Again ! %*&^* GM
So once again I find that my TPW has slipped, now to first week of September. I can't find anyone who can explain why a car which has been allocated for over two months cannot seem to find its way into production. Does anyone have any insight into this arcane, byzantine process?
Anyway, I'm bummed, big time. I've been waiting since May, and now it's starting to look like I'll have to drive it home thru snow. Sorry for the rant. I'm at my wit's end.

I ordered mine on 8/7/2000 and it was delivered on 4/4/2001.
No one every said GM was in the business of selling cars. :crazy:

Sorry to hear that. I got bumped twice last year due to wheel supplier issues. Anybody know why these guys are getting bumped? Is it the new rings? ;) (Sorry, couldn't resist).

Know exactly how you are feeling man!! Sorry big time for your bad news!! I got the call last Friday,my Dealer called,saying my 8/20 was set back to 9/17!!
I had the deposit down last July,2000!! Had my order placed on May 24th of this year! They(other Z06 owners)say the wait is going to be worth it! Hoping it is!!

That's bad news! I think you and I have the exact same car ordered. Karl Johanson called me about two weeks ago and said that my order had been pulled and accepted and that the possible TPW could be 8/13 or 8/20. I'll bet those dates are out the window. The wait goes on.

Gotta hang in there bud! ;) As you know, I went from 7/23 to 8/6. GM is simply backed up literally to get these cars out. You gotta remember that the cars are sequenced by COLOR and not always by the day they are accepted by VOMS. Just think that the next two weeks, I am gonna be going :crazy: being that my car is trying to find its way home :cool:
I truly sympathize with ya and hope that you hang on The Forum with all of us addicts to cushion the tension. :cheers:

Phil .. since I can't get mine built, I've been thinking about yours instead. I figure it's on the line TODAY, or very close to it. I'm envious.. but really glad for you (and all you other lucky ducks that are either sequenced or delivered).

Hang in there Jerry, I know how you feel! FYI - You might want to double check the TPW info your dealer is giving you by calling Chevy Customer Service directly: 800-222-1020

My TPW was advanced from 8/27 to 8/20. I don't have a clue why. Are you sure your dealer placed the order under an allocation he/she has? Is this order place as a stock or sold order. I'm not sure but I wonder if a "sold" oder may advance infront of a "stock" order. Anyone know?
