(The guy selling the viper has no intention of selling anything, just taking some suckers 6K. Its a known scam. The other guys bidding 1M plus are protecting the sucker from winning the auction and thwarting the scam artist)
Same ad ($6,800.00 USD) was on eBay a few weeks ago - for a 57 T-bird. I sent email and asked if this was correct - bidder answered saying he had been "transferred" to Ireland and the cost to register the car, etc. were just too high so he was selling it, and yes, for $6,800.00 WHICH INCLUDING SHIPPING - provided I sent him half the money up front and "I didn't half to pay the other half until I received, inspected and accepted the car" - BOY - I jumped on that deal quick!!!
I realize the seller is pulling a scam, but what happens when the auction ends, and the high bidder is expected to pay up? Are these bidders a bunch of fictitious scammers themselves?
That $6800.00 is a good deal but not as good as the one I bought last week. It seems that just outside Washington D.C. is a 5 sided office building that is for sale. I bought it for $5,000.00! They told me that it is very big and has lots of offices. I am so excited to see it. They said it has a name. Its something like Penton or Pengun or something like that. I think I am going to open a Vette museum in it!

Same as the auction for the 57-Tbird- eBay will catch it soon and pull the car from the auction. I turned in a bid of $1,000.00 just to see what happened - got email from eBay that the "item was pulled" and the auction had been ended. Ebay "felt there may be a fraudulous intent"!! HA HA -
