Default Please help you computer guru's

My computer at work has a block on the forum. Now this is what I don't understand and maybe some of you could help me. I can log onto the CF site but when I click on a discussion forum it's displays the block,however I can pull up the mall and any of the vendor sites,corvette store,ect. I can also log on to the other Vette site, C5 Forum,Digital Corvettes,ect. Help pleeasee.

It's the way they have their web filters set up. Be glad you can see what you can. My company blocks everything on this site

Your proxy at work or gateway/firewall/whatever is probably blocking anything with the prefix "forum" on it.

you can go to www.publicproxyservers.com and select from one of several pages of proxies, be sure to use one on port 80. go into Internet Settings in the Control Panel. Enter in the IP address of the proxy server in the Proxy Server options which is part of the Server Settings under the Connections tab.

Might have to go through a few of them before you find one that works. And do that at your own risk. Some network ***** dont take too kindly to people using public proxy servers on their beloved secure networks.
