sorry to say but mediocre or sloppy work is the norm these days. never, ever take anything @ face value. unfortunately in order to save costs, most companies these days do next-to-no quality assurance of employee work. i value my hard earned moolah way to much to have some clerk's sloppy work to reach into my pocket. i guess they had the same problem in ancient rome since they always said "caveat emptor"

I'd love to do a H/C but it would fly in the face of logic to get some mods and screw with my warranty after its come in so handy time after time!

all because the schmuk dealer employee keyed in the code wrong, that coulld have costed you 3400 bucks
expensive keystroke error
glad you checked into it...I had the same thing happen, but I was still under the OEM warranty.
We should save this thread for when someone post a "extended warranty worth it or not" Thread next time.
