The SLK55 runs a 4.2 sec 0-60 & a 12.7 quarter (stock....same as a C6 MN6 coupe). The SLK is a little heavier, but has a 7 spd auto that keeps the engine in the optimal power curve so it makes up for its extra weight (due to the retractable hard top adding 200 lbs to the curb weight).
