dead battery
my vetts been in storage for the last 3 weeks due to home repaires caused by hurricane rita went to start it today guess i waited to long it was deader than the honda civic with the oversized fart can muffler that tried to race me last month.is it ok to jump start my vett or should i just buy a new battery.

I'm inclined to agree - just buy a new battery. Before you do - do a search and read one of the gabillion threads that have been here about which battery to buy, do your research and then pull the trigger.
Also - while you're in the buying mode, get yourself a Battery Tender and next time hook it up if you are going to be not driving the car for an extended time. You could also simply disconnect the negative (black) lead so that the battery will not discharge.
