in the 60's the wave was ''cool'' and the typical owner was different than todays typical vette owner. early owners were sports car nuts where todays new vette owners are a few sportscar nuts and many ''look what i can afford'' folks [nuts]. no knock intended for anyone.

I was at a red light in the right lane and in the right turn lane pulled up a lady and her daughter in a mag red C6, she actually initiated the wave. I was shocked but i did manage to wave back

Seems like the C6 drivers are snobs in my area (I have a lowly C5). Others from C1-C5 are fine and friendly. Perhaps it is the C6 Euro look that has Porsche and BMW converts driving these cars?
