Default Headlight Buckets

On my 99 when I open the headlights there is a 2 inch hole in the center facing side of each bucket. I suspect this is for adjustment or bulb removal. Are there removable covers for these holes. Mine have always been open?

there are plugs that fit in the holes. I replaced mine with the new style plug and headlight bezel. because the old style plugs fall out easily.

I think it was 2000 or 2001 that they changed the plugs. Most early C5's have lost them.

Default Plugs

Ditto. I have a 98 that had the same issue. You wil need to find old plugs on e-bay or from someone who has a spare set of the old style. If you go to the dealer they only carry a new style plug and you will have to replace the bezzels and get two new plugs <$50 for everything. Easy to do the swap. Use some locktite when you replace them or they will come loose again.
