Default Odd Turn Single Behavior

The other day I was driving along and put my turn single to make a right turn at a red light. I was looking at my HUD and and thought "Huh, the blinking arrow is not working in the on the HUD." Then I noticed I was just being silly, because the turn single was not working at all! I tried the left side to no avail. Then I tried the Hazard blinkers and they worked! After that I tried the turn single again, and all was back to normal. I figured that it was just a aberration of some sort and didn't give it another thought.

Now I have noticed that this has happened to me once a day when I'm driving the car. Each and every time I notice the turn single not working, I shut it, hit the Hazard blinker button, shut it and then turn single works fine again for the rest of the day .

Any ideas what may be going on here? Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Same exact thing happened to me about a week ago...
I thought i was just loosing my mind caused by stress
The car has been raised to put some mods in since then so I haven't had a chance to see any repeat performance. I'm curious to see if other members had this issue...

Your hazard signal has to be changed as it also controls the directionals. Harzard switch is about $38 and is fairly easy to change. Only issue is the way it mounts in the dash. Try this link

I had the same problem and the fix is to change your hazard light switch. I think the one I got was $25 at the dealership. Here's a link on how to change it. It's not that hard....hardest part was getting my hand in there to get the thing out.

Scroll down the post #12. That's the way I got mine out. Haven't had a problem with it since i changed it. Good luck.
