Bought mine new in 2000. Vert with only 25K on clock. Had a pasanger door lock problem twice, other than that no issues. Hope you have got all the bugs out now! Mark

They're like any mass produced car. Sure you're going to have problems w/ them. Hopefully, the problems will be minimum.

Lends all the argument I need as to why these cars were meant to DRIVE not sit in a garage! OF COURSE you have to replace o-rings and have electrical problems when the car sits in the garage for 3 years hardly driven at all! If any of your "less expensive" cars were sitting idle like your Vette was, they would have the same problems too. I have 48,000 on my 2002 and haven't had any problems but basic DIY maintenance.

Got my ’01 new, daily driver, over 70k miles. First few years had all the common problems (oil burning – ring job, fuel gauge, rocking seat, oil pressure sensor, leaking rear end, etc.). Had everything fixed under warranty.

For the last 30,000 miles or so – the car has been rock solid.

And I drive it aggressively! I plan on putting at least 100k on it, probably lots more.

I have a 2002 with 31,000 miles and absolutely no problems. I drive it 3-5 days a week to work and play.
