Differences between stock shifters???

What are the differences between the following:
1) Stock C5 shifter
2) Stock C5-Z06 shifter
3) Stock C6 shifter
4) Stock C6-Z06 shifter
I know there are differences between lengths of throws but how much from one to the next, etc...
Instead of going the Hurst or B&M route, what if I go from a C5 shifter to a C6 stock shifter..
Or if I go from Stock C5 to a C5-Z06.. does that make much sense?
Or, should I just plain buy a C6Z06 shifter and be done with it?
Wow, that's maybe a few too many questions...
Thanks in advance...

Not sure about the C6 shifter. I'd imagine there's a placebo effect with it, but that it's not too different from the C5 shifter.
Check out of the Mallett shifter if you're looking for something lightyears better than stock but not tight/notchy like the popular "short throw" shifters out there. Expensive as hell, but worth it! (Well, it'd be more worth it if it were cheaper -- but it's the best shifter in my opinion.)

You aren't kidding expensive!!! Lol @ me... I'd never heard of these before until you told me about them...
I was told the Z06 shifters do not have any rubber gromment/whatever so it makes it feel more positive and less spongy???
I have not SEEN one for myself to know the difference...Thanks for your input...
