GM Performance Parts 427ci / 505hp ''LS7'' Engine

It takes production small-block performance to an unprecedented level while demonstrating the continuing adaptability of the engine's compact, cam-in-block design. It is, quite simply, the largest, most powerful production small-block V-8 GM has ever produced.

Thats actually a pretty good price. A friend of mine got his LS7 for 13K from a GMPartsdirect a couple months ago and I'm pretty sure they've raised the price since then.
I sure this is for the crate engine only. Wondering what it would cost for the installation into a C5? Can it be done And what problems would there be? Mark

I was wondering the same thing. What other mods would need to be done inorder to slide a LS7 into a C5 and make it purr? PCM swap, etc.
Inquring minds would like to know.
Overall, sounds like a nice deal with shipping and all, if you have the $$$
Not that I'm going to ... but if I put one of these in my A4 ... wouldn't I have to change the transmission, and just about everything else in the car? Probably would have $25K or so in it by the time I got though. Might be better off to take my $30K '03, plus the $25K, and get a new Z-06? I'll try that logic on my wife ...
