Blue gloves
This is probably a stupid question. The blue gloves i see a lot of people wearing while working on a car,what are these and why are they wearing them? Is it bad for your health working on a car without gloves on now?

The blue gloves are a heavier-duty version of the thin latex gloves you see people wearing lately when working on cars. They don't rip as easily. People I know that wear them do so to keep their hands clean.

I love cars... I even like working on them.
Spending the next week waiting for the grease and girt to get out from under your fingernails is not fun. Those blue gloves are the way to fly.

I use them...
...hands stay clean...and my fingerprints stay off parts...
Some stuff is really difficult to get out from under fingernails..
...I pick guitar and its sometimes not pretty :o
