Default Ride Before The Storm

Took the Z06 out today, a bit cool but still nice. stayed out for over an hour covering both rural roads as well as some nice highway.

We have a storm coming in tonight and tomorrow bringing snow with blizzard conditions dropping as much as 2 - 4 inches per hour, not what I call Corvette weather.

I saw 2 other C5's out there, both waved and smiled, looks like we all had the same idea. Got allot of looks and fingers pointed, no, not that one. Really had a nice time, looking forward to spring and summertime.

It is snowing today here in Central Illinois. Looks like it will be a while before the Vette comes out.

Thanks for the update BobbyG. It's gonna suck here later - no doubt. Glad you enjoyed the ride.

The snow just started to fall here in the NYC area. We had our baby out this week….put about 120 miles on her with a short road trip to PA. Yes….looking forward to the Spring!

That's why I bought this: Let it snow, time to play.

Had a little of that white stuff fall here yesterday. Just a dusting and no road problems though.

this time of year, you must take advantage of the rare day or two that allows for Vette driving.

Today my wife drove her 1973 to do some shopping. She hadn't had it out for almost 2 months now.

It's been snowing in the Bucks County/Mercer County area for the past couple of hours. No accumulation on the roads yet. Because it's my only car at the moment, I'm keeping my C5 at home this weekend. It's not worth having some fool skid into me. Even if I did have a 4WD I wouldn't be going out in deep snow unless it was an emergency. As for taking my C5 out only on nice days, I say hogwash.

Coming down pretty hard here, just north of D.C. Looks pretty though. It's just the shoveling that I don't like.

Live in Mass also. Was out today and didn't see one vette, let alone any c5's. Very disappointing. Tomorrow it's snowing all day. Guess the vette will be jailed in the garage for a few days.
