Default Mud flaps?

Anyone use the little ones you can get out of the Ecklers cataloq?

Seems always alot to road grime near the edge of the wheel wells. I guess it must throw some sand there too.

Its great because you can't see it unless you look really close, and it really protects the paint. Just my 0.02 cents.

I've mud flats on my 4x4 pickup truck and they look fine there. Never like the look on any car ... especially a Vette. But to each thier own. If you are worried about the grim and don't mind the look, then go for it.

These are the ones I put on my car. It has helped a lot with the rock chips and they are not very noticable either.

I had a small set of moulded "flaps" made for the C5 on my 98.

Truthfully, I don't think they looked too bad, like they weren't real obvious ...... and they sure stopped the chipping and crap from building up down the rocker panels and the back of the wheel wells.

I don't have them on my 01, but I'm thinking on it ... cleaning the mess behind the wheel wells is a pain!!!

On my c4 I made up a custom set from plexiglass (clear plastic). When they were on the car it was difficult to see them unless you were close to the car. I haven't tried making them for my c5 but, will soon.
