Default ? on led interior lights under dash/trunk

I came across some blue leds (two 6 led cluster bulbs) for the corvette trunk lights on ebay that I'm considering putting in to replace the stock bulbs for the rear trunk lights. They say the installation is just removing the current stock bulbs and replacing them with the leds. Sounds easy.

Just wondering are the bulbs that are currently in the rear trunk lights the same as the ones under the dash? So I could use the same leds under the dash as well... Didn't know if they were all the same size or not..

If so - do all the bulbs just pull out or unscrew out? What about the light covers in the trunk area and under the dash - how do you get those off without breaking them?

Thanks for any info

Jeff

The lenses for the lights in the rear do not come off. They are attached to the light housing. To change bulbs, get the carpeting loose so you can get to the rear of the light, unplug the small power plug, squeeze the tabs together (one on each side) and push the light fixture forward and out of the hole in the carpeting. The bulbs are small 1/4 turn units that mount from the rear of the housing. It is possible to change the bulbs without removing the light fixture too. Just pull the carpeting far enough forward to get to the back side of the light housing. HTH
