mines been tinted for many many years and no probs. my folks had theirs done (mine was done when i bought the car so i dont know about it for sure) and their installer glued the tint to the dots to keep them from seperating between dots causing that silverish look some cars get. also, theres been many people post that installers paint over the dot matrix area also. bottom line, the installer should be able to do it, and for no reason should they leave it undone. that would look terrible IMO
