All manual 6-speed Vettes come with 3.42 gears only and nothing else.
All automatics come with either 2.73's or 3.15's.

Yup, when looking for my C5, I waited for a car with the 3:15, but now I want even lower for more 'zip'.

2.73's with a 3000 stall is amazing. I don't even want to step up to 3.42's or 3.73's.

I only have a 2400 stall. Traction is now a problem. Activates T/C going into 2nd.
And, I still 30 mpg on the highway.
Still thinking about 3.42s.

Still running the runcraps jeep? I switched to G-force KD's and was amazed at the traction compared to the stockers.

All manual equipped cars came with the 3.42 rear axle. Only automatics have the 3.15s.

... Why a manual "of course"? Nothing wrong the A4. I'm sure there are some that will argue that it's the better choice.

The paddle shifters are coming out soon, what will we debate then?? It's kind of both an Auto and a Manual.......
