Check out this set of replica wheels. I'm looking for another set of rims for the track and these are super cheap..... comments or warnings welcome....
they would be a good deal if you can get him to ship them all for 89.00. Otherwise he is getting people to buy them and than rip them off on the shipping.
im betting he is intending on selling them at the 89 per wheel price and not the set. thats how alot of ebayers make money....the low buying price catches u at first. but to answer your question, tons of us are running replica rims, chrome mainly, but nothign wrong with them or these.
I agree with everyone on here about the shipping price, but I love the looks of gunmetal rims on the C5's. The link below will give you an idea of what they would look like. Granted these are wagon wheels and not the thin spoke, but you get the idea
how much should I pay per wheel to get shipped, say about half way across the country? Or better yet, how much does each rim weigh? then I could just go to ups and find out.....

I thought the same but I talked to someone at their shop and I decided to take a leap of faith as thgey made me feel comfortable. I bought the polished rims that are on the C5 now from this guy and I was very pleased. The rims look great and hardly needed any weight for balancing,,,plus he gave me a set of chrome lugnuts and 4 lock nuts. Besides, you don't sell over 13,000 items on eBay with a 98.5% satisfaction rating if you're selling junk....JMHO
Here is my educated opinion... @ 100 dollars a wheel, they have to be the cheapest wheels on the market for a C5. Now do you really want to ask if they are a high quaility wheel? This price also includes caps and lug nuts... so each wheel is 100 dollars. Also expensive Factory OEM wheels @ 450 dollars a wheel have some quality issues. BTW you wont notice cracks in the spokes right away...I would not put my family in a car with wheels of this obvious quality.
I always say I can not afford to buy anything too cheap...

I respect that you have an opinion on the matter but with all due respect you're just guessing...nothing more. I have the wheels and would defy you or anyone else to tell them apart from a OEM wheel. I've parked beside C5's with OEM's and NO DIFFERENCE. Most inexpensive rims maybe but not the "cheapest"
Over the winter i bought the OEM centre caps and when they go on in the spring, no one will be able to tell
I've used them, I know of others who have too and they were fine.
If weight and offset are important, you might want to call as I didn't see that listed but you'd check that anyway if it mattered, right? Also, for the track you probably don't want locking wheel nuts so you might want to ask them if they can substitute standards ones for you.
The shipping is probably 89 for all four as, after all, that's what it says on their other listings. You could always call them and ask of course.
AFS also sells wheels on eBay too, often at a substantial discount to their normal price so you might want to check their listings as well. FWIW, it's always worth checking as other vendors also sell more cheaply on there.
