Contrary to what most people think....the x-pipe will not eliminate the popping noise.....i have kooks lg's with x-pipe and high flow cats with borla stingers and it still pops like crazy!

X-pipe will REDUCE the popping, but will never eliminate it. If you have a very "poppy" system, you will still have decent popping with the x-pipe. If you have a milder system, the popping will be less noticable.

I have a complete Z06 system on my vert and it pops on deceleration. Word of caution, careful when decelerating that you don't go wild on the rpm's. LS1 are notorious for weak valve springs and many an engine ends up with bent valves Happens mostly with manual cars with an accidental down shift.

I cannot imagine driving my Vette down a hill downshifting to third and not hear that favorite sound of cackling and popping! Borla rocks!

My C5 had MagnaFlows already installed. Beautiful burbling sound on decel and a very pleasant drone in 6th gear.

Anything loud will pop. In fact, the motor does it all the time on deceleration anyway - the stock exhaust just silences it.
