exhaust that pops?

Default exhaust that pops?
Im looking for an exhaust that pops when i deaccelerate (sp?). Especially when I am using the engine to hold me back on a hill.

My Z06 exhaust pops on decel. right around 2200 rpm if I remember correctly. Most catbacks should pop some what unless you replace the x-pipe. The x-pipe is supposed to reduce the popping by equalizing the exhaust gases! Good luck with your search!

Just get a performance system with no x-pipe and you'll get the pop. You'll also get a motorboat sound but you might like it!

I'm down with the motorboat sound as long as it doesn't completely drown out all other sounds at cruise.

My Borla's twin tip stingers with factory H pipe also burbble on decel.

First try removing the factory H-Pipe and plugging the holes. That may give you what you want at no cost at all.

all c5s pop on decel even with stock exhaust it is caused by the change in firing order on the ls1. x pipe will eliminate most of it and will change that motor boat sound

Mine do it even with the x-pipe, but probably not as much as they would without it.
