I do for long top down drives, track and autocross. I have a pair of custom made pig skin gloves with the cutouts and snap wrist. I had them made in a glove shop in Vienna Austria a couple of years ago.
For around town and normal driving I don't wear them.
No way Michael Jackson drives a vette! Probably one of those BMW Z3's, an Eclipse, or some girly car.
My gloves are always in my C5 so I don't lose them but they are for weightlifting not driving. They probably would be good for driving, fingers are cut out, but if I try the gloves next I'll want a helmet and a fire proof suit. Maybe with my spirted driving it's not a bad idea.
I mean Spirited, spirted sounds like something my truck would do. Is there a spell check on here?

Reason: I can't spell
I always wear Mechanix Gloves when I'm out on the track. If I'm driving with the top down and the temp is below 50 they are nice. I bought a pair of thin leather driving gloves two tears ago and have never worn them.
I used to wear them when I lived up north when it was cold or cool. Use to love the feel of them. I even wore them in my wifes Taurus. Guess I looked like a real geek when I drove it with them on but the leather gloves and the leather wheel just felt good to me.

Ever since I bought the car. The leather steering wheel will eventually need replacing from sweat/oils etc. No sense speeding it up. I like the better grip too.
