Never have in the vette, and only in the truck if it's in the low teens or below.

I work with my hands for a living. They get VERY dirty... I have a beautiful leather red and black wheel cover on my Torch Red Vert........
Mine is a daily driver... I'm 61 years old...My old hands do not retain moisture like they used to when I was 40....
The gloves keep the dirt off the wheel, and the leather allows me to hold the wheel far better than I usually can do.............
I vote for the gloves........................

If I had one of those Ivy League caps and a long silk scarf, I'd wear gloves ...

Helps me keep my VE wheel clean. And they also come in handy for removing the roof panel when it has been baking in the sun for a while.

I wear them all the time while driving. Love the feel of leather on leather. I have the type with the knuckles cut out and the snap fasteners on the wrists. Love 'em.

I think it's pretty "old school" to wear driving gloves, but my Avatar driving hero always wears them!

Actually, I'll wear Isotoner driving gloves, but only if it's practically freezing outside, and living in SoCal, that's a rarity, indeed...

I used to have some really nice ones when I was a teenager many years ago, with the little cutouts for the knuckles and the back of your hand and all that. Dang. Those were nice. Wish I still had 'em, I'd maybe reconsider...

But in general, I think driving gloves look too "poser" for street use. Maybe with a wood wheel -- but never with a leather wheel.

As an every day drive = no gloves. On the track for DE and lapping days = Sparco fitted Nomex along with full suit and other protective gear. Safety First !!
