Default HUD Windshield

Does anybody know where a guy can get a decent priced HUD winshield for a 99 in the midwest??? I am getting quotes from 1000-1800. That seems a little pricey to me but don't know?

If you are paying cash and not insurance - you may consider the non coated windshield. There are several forum members who have added HUD to their cars and can see them just fine on their standard winshields.

I have seen an upgraded HUD car and it looks almost no different.

Save yer cash there, buddy. Spend it on other MODS that will actually do something to enhance your car. I have a HUD with no problems fromt he windshield. Only time I can't see the display is when the sun is coming from behind me. Even a HUD windhield won't fix that. There was a thread on here about this a few days ago. You can find it with the advanced search option.

Default HUD vs Standard Windshield

I added a HUD last year. I have no complaints using the standard windshield.

Save your money for other mods.
